High Voltage Insulating Silicon Paint

Peter Rhodes is a distributor of the Si-COAT 570 High Voltage Insulator Coating. This One-part room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) polysiloxane coating is a solution to insulator flashovers.

What is it?

The Coating is a unique and patented formula which gives a highly hydrophobic surface for the product’s life. The coating is enhanced by not being affected by corona discharge, UV light, salt, chemical contaminants, extreme temperatures, or corrosive environments.

This allows for a long life span, and enables the product to self-cool which protects the surface. No heat is required to cure the coat, so it is not subject to further reactions during curing, and enhances performance.
